About Health Cart
“Health Cart is an online medical replenishment ordering service by Bound Tree for Health Care Organisations, Medical NGOs, MNCs or anyone who requires medical utilities”.
An hassle free ordering experience from anywhere and anytime.
Background

I was the sole designer assigned for this project. My role was to understand the business requirements and craft a mobile experience. As this was a pitch project I had all the liberty to do blue-sky thinking without any constraints. Hence, I took as many assumptions as I can both from business and featureperspective. This helped me go beyond the actuals.
Design Process

Since the business requirements had already been explained, I knew I had to craft a mobile experience. Hence, I got enough time to think out of the box. This helped me take an iterative design process, which in turn uplifted the user experience and I was also able to focus more on the visual design.
Current Platform
Bound Tree currently provides a web-desktop ordering experience to its customers. The order process usually consists of:

Pain Points in Current Platform
• Counter-intuitive
User faces difficulty in
navigating to the desired
product.
• Reactive over proactive
The system does not proactively helps the user in the ordering experience.
• Non-contextual
Recommendations and
suggestions are not adaptive
to the user.
• Lack of Personalization
Product categories are
generic and based of
popularity.
Vision
“ To build a smart, proactive mobile ecosystem which provides the user an
efficient and personalized ordering experience.”
Scope
- Introducing personalization, customization, and proactiveness as the key components.
- Empowering mobile capabilities.
- Retaining and refining the web functionalities.
- Interpreting purchasing behaviour for smart recommendations and suggestions.
- Timely reminders to keep the ordering schedules on track.
- Ability to create customised and automated orders.

Herein, I created a pitch deck that captured the opportunity areas, our vision, business benefits and couple of use cases.
